What do we mean by “The Way of Christ and His Apostles” ?

All that Jesus continued to do and teach through the Spirit , in and the through the Apostles. Acts gives us the Big Picture, the Epistles and Gospels give us insights into what happened within the network of local churches in the then known Roman World.

In the early church Apostolic Teams were set apart by the Spirit and sent by the churches to progress the gospel, by planting churches, establishing them in the teachings, developing elders and entrusting these churches to them and multiplying these churches globally.

The Apostles while moving around in different spheres planted, multiplied and networked these simple churches

Why do we call it Simple Churches?

The early churches were authentic relational communities of
disciples who were having the core DNA of Missions.
They met in any place that they could gather, were flexible
and spontaneously multiplied locally.
They participated along with Apostolic Teams in the global
expansion

Chadwick Mohan

Chadwick Samuel Mohan leads One Global Missions which is deeply committed in building complex Apostolic teams that are involved in planting and multiplying Churches Globally, establishing them as family of families, which is relationally mentored through every stage of life. He has a deep passion in networking with churches and other organisations to help deposit the sound doctrine intergenerationally, to build the body of Christ and transform nations.

Chadwick is also the Lead Pastor of New Life Assembly of God, a multi-lingual, 40,000 member church in Chennai, India. He serves with Life 360 and Project Rescue which are charitable entities within India and is closely associated with BILD International, Antioch School of Church Planting and Leadership Development, One Hope, Oral Roberts University and Empowered 21 in the USA. He is the Regional Director for Lausanne Movement South Asia.

Chadwick completed the Doctor of Ministry program with Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in the USA and his field of expertise is on leadership formation and helps shape leadership not only within churches and non governmental organisations but coaches leaders within the secular corporate world too.

He is married to Sumi and they have a son Naethan Godwill.

Chadwick Mohan

Jacob John

Jacob John grew up in India, spent a season of his adult life in Bahrain in the Middle East, and now resides in Vancouver, Canada.

He studied briefly at Regent College and pastored a Baptist church before founding Acts 29 Inc. in 2006 in Vancouver.

He also travels to nations planting and establishing churches, equipping and releasing men and women into their God-ordained destiny – and introducing the Body to the intimacy and freedom that life in Christ entails. Jacob loves coffee, plane-spotting, and ice-hockey.

Steven Peters

Steven Peters is the lead pastor of a church in Los Angeles called Remnant. Steven spent 15 years in the music industry and served in many churches as a worship pastor. He and his wife, Nicole felt God calling them to plant a church in Los Angeles with the intent to go back to the original way that they saw in the book of Acts. Their community has a heavy emphasis on discipleship and they work with believers around the world to establish simple churches as authentic families. Apart from ministry, Steven is the CEO of the aftermarket car design company Streckenkraft. The company is focused on bringing leading industry design to the aftermarket sector for German sports cars.

Phoebe Upke

Phoebe Upke serves on the ministry team at Remnant in Los Angeles. She is passionate about revealing God’s nature and empowering believers to grow in spiritual maturity, guiding them to live God-centered lives that embody kingdom realities. Having grown up in the Philippines with family spread throughout the world, she has a heart to see God’s kingdom impact the global body of Christ. With a background in motion graphics animation across various creative industries, Phoebe enjoys integrating her creative skills into her teaching to help people deepen their understanding of who God is.

Abigail Henry

Abigail Henry is passionate to see women rise up to accomplish their God Given Destiny and fulfil the Kingdom Mission. She grew up as a pastor’s Kid in India and has a burden to pray for and establish the kids of church leaders in the way of Christ. She is also engaged in leading people to worship God at her local church. She presently works as a Financial Compliance Specialist with a reputed manufacturing and marketing firm in New Jersey. Having worked in other financial institutions in India and USA she has been a benefactor in helping One Global Missions with its Financial Compliance and Integrity. She is married to Dinesh and has two adorable daughters Ahavah and Zemorah.

Benedict Joseph

Ben received his call to serve in ministry in 2009 while working in the corporate sector. He currently pastors the church in Dubai. Before leading One Dubai, Ben served in Chennai, India, alongside a team of pastors with a primary focus on teaching, preaching, shepherding, and leadership development. He is deeply committed to establishing households rooted in the teachings of Christ. Ben completed his Master-Craftsman, Doctorate of Ministry at the Center for Church-Based Theological Education, Ames, Iowa,USA. He is married to Praveena, who shares his passion to serve the Lord and also consults for a U.S.-based firm. Together, they have a precious daughter Abigail Joanna.

Simon Mathew

Simon grew up in Bahrain, where he worked alongside other leaders to lead the churches in Bahrain. He and his wife Maria were called to plant a house church in Abu Dhabi. In addition to their ministry work, Simon and Maria have played key roles as business leaders, supporting the global expansion of the church. They also run a business that has grown alongside their church-planting efforts in Abu Dhabi.

Jordan

Jordan was born and raised in southern Africa by missionary parents, instilling in him a heart for people of all nations from a young age. He has a deep desire to have a raw authentic relationship with God, pure and free from the traditions, legalism, wisdom and structure of man. His heart is to seek the Lord, to walk with Him, to know Him, to be loved by and to love Him, be led by the voice of the Holy Spirit, to discover the riches of God’s heart, and to learn to live as a true son by following the example set by God’s only begotten son, Jesus. Jordan was recently sent to Abu Dhabi to support a new house church plant and help in preparing the global Bride for the Marriage of the Son.
